2. Services Provided
Morphett Painting Services offers residential and commercial painting services, including interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, and other related services as agreed upon in the service contract.
3. Quotations and Estimates
3.1. All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
3.2. The final cost may vary if there are changes to the original scope of work, unforeseen complications, or additional requests made by the client.
3.3. Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and may incur additional charges.
4. Booking and Scheduling
4.1. A deposit of 30% of the total cost is required to confirm the booking.
4.2. The scheduling of work will be arranged based on mutual availability. Any delays caused by weather conditions, client availability, or other unforeseen circumstances will be communicated promptly.
5. Payment Terms
5.1. Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.2. Invoices not paid within 14 days may incur interest at a rate of 10% per month.
5.3. Morphett Painting Services reserves the right to cease work if payment terms are not met.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
6.1. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start date may result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
6.2. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate such requests.
7. Quality and Warranty
7.1. Morphett Painting Services guarantees the quality of our workmanship for a period of [insert warranty period, e.g., 12 months] from the date of completion.
7.2. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by external factors, or issues arising from materials provided by the client.
7.3. Any defects or issues covered by the warranty must be reported in writing within the warranty period.
8. Client Responsibilities
8.1. The client is responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible and free of obstructions.
8.2. The client must provide access to utilities (water, electricity, etc.) necessary for the completion of the work.
8.3. The client must remove or protect any personal belongings or furniture that may be affected by the painting process.
9. Health and Safety
9.1. Morphett Painting Services will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our team and the client’s property.
9.2. The client must inform us of any hazards or specific safety concerns related to the property.
10. Liability
10.1. Morphett Painting Services is insured for public liability. However, we are not responsible for any damage to the property caused by factors beyond our control.
10.2. The client agrees to indemnify Morphett Painting Services against any claims, losses, or damages arising from the client’s failure to comply with these terms and conditions.
11. Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of Australia.
12. Amendments Morphett Painting Services reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
13. Acceptance By accepting a quotation, booking a service, or making a payment, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
